PaperVision / ImageSilo Connector - Tutorial

  1. Login to frevvo as the new user
  2. You will be in the Application Home page. If you only see the Task Home page then this user does not have the role frevvo.designer. Login to your tenant as admmin@<your admin@<your tenant id> and edit the user's profile to give them this special role
  3. Click the Link icon and enter one of the URLs shown below into the wizard
  4. Click finish to complete the wizard

Demo Gallery Space

Your demo tenant contains a pre-created Space named the "Paperless PortalDemo Gallery". A space is simply a web site that contains quick links to the demo forms, workflows and , your task list and any shared submissions. This Demo Gallery was pre-configured for you and already contains the most popular demo forms and workflows in your demo tenant. You can edit this space and add/remove forms/flows to suit your needs. See the documentation for  editing spaces .

To get the URL to your Paperless Portal Demo Gallery space:

  1. Login to your demo tenant as the designer user
  2. Click the Space tab
  3. Click the Share button
  4. Copy/Paste the URL into your browser
  5. Save a bookmark in your browser bookmark

Air Servers

Several demos utilize Tablets and Smart Phones. If you are demoing via Webex you will need some way to display your mobile device on the laptop where you're running the Webex. We suggest the following software:

Your demo tenant is pre-configured with several demo applications. These applications can be seen by logging into your demo tenant as user designer@<your tenant id>. (See adding pre-built demos to other user accounts).

  1. Sample Hospital - Patient Referral flow from Nurse to Doctor to ImageSilo.
  2. For Demos (Passport...) - US Passport renewal flow and simple demo forms.
  3. Education - forms/flow for student registration and course evaluation.
  4. Case Studies - FEMA forms, voter registration, health care referral, asset registration, etc...

To run this demo live we suggest that you have a desktop computer, iPhone and iPad.

Demo Instructions:

  1. Access your demo tenant's Paperless Portal from your Desktop Computer. If you do not know how to do this see help here.

  2. Click the "Important Items" tab and the "New Employee" menu item.

  3. The forms requires authenticated access.

  4. Login as username  sue@< your tenant>  (Sue plays the role of HR) 

  5. Show how Space looks on desktop so it can be compared to 1st step of flow on the iPad.

  6. Access your demo tenant's Paperless Portal from your iPad

  7. See how Space looks on the Mobile device as compared to the desktop computer.
  8. Click "New Employee" button in the "Important Items" row.

  9. Login as tom@<your tenant>  (Tom plays the role of Employee)

  10.  Fill in the form on the iPad.

    • The first few workflow steps are called a Screen Flow as they are all filled by the Employee.

    • Validation – built-in & patterns

    • Show/Hide

    • Different control types automatically adapt to use the iPad's built-in Phone, Date keypads

  11. You may wish to pause the workflow demo momentarily to show how the PDF Generation is setup...

    1. Login as designer@<your tenant>
    2. Edit the Employee On Boarding workflow and click the PDF Gen button
    3. Show the PDF Mapper

  12. Tom finally clicks the Send to Manager button. This automatically route the form to Jerry's task list 

  13. Jerry receives an Email Notification for subject “New Employee On Board”

  14. Access your demo tenant's Paperless Portal from your iPhone
  15. Click "Task List" button in the "Important Items" row.

  16. Login as jerry@<your tenant>  (Jerry plays the role of Manager)

  17. View the buttons and features of the task list
    • Email style
    • Auto refresh like an email inbox
    • Search for a task
    • Audit Trail
  18. Click the Quick View button
  19. This displays a simple view that renders fast on a mobile device. The information displayed is completely configurable by the form's designer.
    • From the Quick View you can approve. This sends the form to the next person in the workflow and signs the form.
    • You can also reject which sends the form back to Tom.
  20. Click the Approve button.
  21. Return to the Paperless Portal on the desktop computer 
  22. You should be logged in already as sue@<your tenant> from step 4 above. (Sue plays the role of HR)
  23. Click the "Important Items" tab and the "Task List" menu item.
  24. View the same task list features now on the desktop view
    • Show Audit trail which now shows how the flow has moved from Tom to Jerry and now it is on Sue's task list.

    • This final workflow step is sent to everyone in the HR team using the navigate to Role workflow features

    • Thus the form is automatically routed to the task list of all users with the HR role

    • The first person to access the task will lock it.

    • The tasks can be unlocked and put back on task list for anyone with HR role again 

  25. Have Sue complete the form.
