A frevvo project DocuPhase Forms project enables you to conveniently group forms, workflows, schemas, and documents together and work with them as a coherent unit. Projects are portable. You can download projects and then upload them to other users or other frevvo serversother DocuPhase Forms servers.

Warning

We recommend that tenant admin users not create or edit projects. These users should restrict themselves to administrative tasks.

Note
  • If the designer uploads a project with same ID as an existing project, they will see following error:

  • Uploading projects/applications from prior versions is supported up to two major versions back. For example, you can upload an application from v7.4 into your v10.0 installation. However, you cannot upload an application from v7.3 into v10.0, and will see the error: message "Invalid project file version: Version 7.0. Make sure you are uploading a zip file that was downloaded from a version of frevvo frevvo DocuPhase Forms that is between version 7.4 and 10.0." In this case, you will need to first upload your applications to a v7.4 or v9.0 installation to upgrade them, then download from that installation and upload to your v10.0 installation. See our End of Life Policy chart for a list of major release versions.

    • If your project is a supported version but it contains unsupported (older) forms/workflows, those resources will be uploaded but will show with a pink "error" background. The only action available on such forms/workflows will be "Delete". Using the Search feature may show additional options, but clicking them displays an error message.

  • You cannot upload a Project downloaded from a later version.

The Project name and description are each limited to 255 characters.

Styles can be selected from a dropdown that will show all the styles in the tenant as choices including four global styles (Blue, Neutral, Green and Aqua). New and existing projects will always have a color scheme (default is Blue). See Layouts and Styles for more information.

Base URLs: frevvo DocuPhase Forms will prepend the base URL to any URLs specified in the form designer Form Action and Doc Action wizards which are not absolute. For example, if your project base URL is http://www.myhost.com and your form's doc action is /service then frevvo will then DocuPhase Forms will prepend the base URL to create http://www.myhost.com/service. If your form's doc action is fully specified however such as http://www.myForms.com/service then this overrides the project's base URL.
